This nutrition consultation session is a deep dive into your current lifestyle to bridge the gap between where you are and your fitness goals. The following will be covered in this 60 minutes session: 1. The Intake & Assessment Medical & Health History: discussing allergies, intolerances, injuries, or any medications that affect metabolism. Dietary Audit: Reviewing a "5-day food log" (if you kept one) to see your current calorie intake and macronutrient split (protein, carbs, fats). 2. Goal Alignment This is where you define exactly what you want to achieve. Identifying the "Why": moving beyond "I want to look better" to specific targets (e.g., "I want to drop 4% body fat while maintaining muscle mass"). Performance Needs: depending on the kind of physical activities and your fitness routine, the specific fuel you need to perform without burning out will be calculated. 3. Strategy & Education Macronutrient Targets: setting specific daily totals for Protein (for muscle repair), Carbs (for training energy), and Fats (for hormone health). Meal Timing: discussing when to eat relative to your workouts (pre- and post-workout nutrition). Habit Coaching: identifying "friction points," such as eating out too often or late-night snacking, and finding "swaps" that fit your lifestyle. 4. The Action Plan You’ll leave the session with a clear roadmap, which often includes: Sample Meal Structures: a framework of what a balanced plate looks like for you. Grocery List & Prep Tips: suggestions for high-protein staples and time-saving kitchen hacks. Supplement Guidance: if needed, advice on basics like protein powder, creatine, or vitamins to fill nutritional gaps.
